Implementation Strategist

Full-time | Hybrid (Provo, UT) or Remote (U.S.)

About the opportunity

The Implementation Strategist plays a critical role in ensuring successful deployment and adoption of our AI solutions at higher ed institutions. This position blends project management, consultative strategy, troubleshooting, and product expertise. You will guide institutions from kickoff through post-launch optimization, helping them translate their goals into an actionable implementation plan and ensuring our technology drives real institutional value.

This is an ideal role for someone who understands the complexities of higher ed operations and loves solving problems, managing stakeholders, and making technology approachable for diverse users.

What you'll do

Implementation and Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects for new higher education partners, from discovery through post-launch.
  • Build deliverables based on the implementation type, Halda best practices, and strategies established by the Partner Success team (e.g., AI Forms, AI Hub, AI Search, etc. for the AI Website Conversion Agent).
  • Execute integration strategies to ensure partner data flows successfully into their CRM and back into Halda for reporting key value metrics and delivering personalized experiences to prospective students.
  • Update implementation deliverables as the Partner Success team refines optimization strategies, ensuring each implementation stays aligned with the partner's defined KPIs.
  • Maintain implementation project plans, timelines, and success criteria tailored to each institution's goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams as needed, including Product, Engineering, and Partner Success.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
  • Triage customer concerns and identify opportunities to improve the implementation experience.

Partner Strategy, Consultation, and Support

  • Partner with the Partner Success team to understand institutional workflows, student needs, and success metrics, then translate that strategy into implementation deliverables.
  • Lead all implementation-related partner meetings, from kickoff through post-launch optimization.
  • Advise institutions on best practices for implementing Halda's AI products across enrollment, student services, advising, and administrative operations.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert throughout implementation.
  • Develop communication, training, and rollout strategies that encourage long-term product adoption.
  • Support faculty, staff, and leadership in implementing AI responsibly and effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Represent the voice of the customer by providing feedback that informs product enhancements, roadmap planning, and future capabilities.
  • Partner with the Sales team to support late-stage prospects with implementation guidance and project scoping.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and implementation processes.

What we're looking for

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in implementation, strategy, consulting, project management, or customer success, preferably in edtech, SaaS, or higher education.
  • Strong understanding of higher education workflows, including admissions, advising, student support, academic affairs, registrar functions, and related operations.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building abilities

Preferred:

  • Experience implementing AI solutions, enterprise SaaS platforms, integrations, or student information systems (SIS, ERP, CRM).
  • Familiarity with APIs, data mapping, or technical integration processes (coding experience not required).
  • Background in higher education administration, student success, digital transformation, or institutional effectiveness.
