About Halda

Halda is the enrollment platform that learns with every interaction. Colleges and universities use Halda to turn anonymous website visitors into inquiries, applicants and enrolled students across web, email, SMS and voice. Every conversation teaches the platform something about that student, so the next one is better informed. We work alongside the CRM a school already runs, including Slate.

We're a small team that moves fast and owns its results. Enrollment leaders have sat through plenty of AI pitches, and your job is to get them to take a meeting worth their time.

About the opportunity

You'll start the conversations that become Halda's pipeline. You'll research colleges and universities, find the right enrollment and marketing leaders and book meetings our account executives can turn into customers. Your focus is higher ed, with some outreach to private K-12 schools.

This role fits someone who likes the phone, treats a "no" as information and already knows what a vice president of enrollment is measured on.

What you'll do

  • Book five or more qualified meetings every week with enrollment and marketing leaders.
  • Research target institutions and build your account lists in HubSpot before the first touch.
  • Use AI tools to handle the prep work faster, from account research and list building to first drafts of outreach and call notes. The time you save goes back into live conversations.
  • Make outbound calls every day. Orum keeps the dials moving, and you keep the conversations human.
  • Write email and LinkedIn sequences that read like a person wrote them, because one did.
  • Hand each meeting to an account executive with full context, including the institution's goals, its pressures and what you heard on the call.
  • Review your calls in Gong, try new talk tracks and share what's working with the team.
  • Run follow-up around higher ed conferences such as NACAC and AACRAO, where a lot of our conversations start.
  • Keep HubSpot accurate so your pipeline numbers hold up in forecast reviews.

What we're looking for

Required

  • You have higher ed experience. You've worked in or closely with admissions, enrollment or enrollment marketing, and you understand how those offices make decisions.
  • You're comfortable with cold calling and a high-activity day.
  • You already use AI tools in your daily work, and you're quick to test new ones that save time without making your outreach sound generic.
  • Your writing and speaking stay clear across phone, email and LinkedIn.
  • You can manage a full pipeline and close the loop on every next step.
  • You're coachable. You ask for feedback and put it to work the same week.

Nice to have

  • Ed tech experience in sales, business development or another customer-facing role that sold to schools.
  • Hands-on time in HubSpot, Gong or a power dialer.
  • Familiarity with private K-12 admissions.

What's offered

  • A $55,000 base salary with uncapped variable pay and a $90,000 OTE.
  • Hands-on coaching and regular feedback on your calls.
  • Room to grow your career as Halda grows.
  • A team that celebrates results and shares the credit.
  • Fully remote, with teammates who stay connected.
  • Health, dental and vision coverage, with employee premiums 100% covered
  • HSA available
  • Flexible PTO from day one
  • Paid holidays
  • Bi-monthly pay structure
  • Travel expense reimbursement (transportation, lodging, meals) for approved events

How to apply

If you've sat on the enrollment side of the desk and you'd rather book the meeting than sit through the pitch, we'd like to meet you. Send your application to careers@halda.ai.
